Only the link and title are saved (a few bytes) — never any audio/video data.

Oura can't stream live sleep stages (the ring only syncs after you wake), so DriftOff instead reads your recent nights and learns how long you typically take to fall asleep, then suggests a fade-out timer just past that point — the least-impactful stop we can make.

Needed for in-app search only. Get a free key: Google Cloud Console → create project → enable YouTube Data API v3 → create API key.

The player here is the official YouTube embed. Because you have YouTube Premium, just make sure this browser is signed in to YouTube (open youtube.com once and check) — embeds then play ad-free automatically. No separate login in this app is needed.

· On a phone, use Night mode — it keeps the screen awake but near-black, since mobile browsers pause embedded video when the screen locks.
· On desktop/laptop, you can lock the screen; audio keeps playing.
· "Hide video" keeps only the audio prominent and dims light output.
· Everything (keys, library, settings) is stored only in this browser — a few KB of text.

Skips sponsor reads, self-promotion and similar segments inside the videos themselves, using the crowd-sourced SponsorBlock database (the same data as the popular browser extension). Videos nobody has labelled yet play unchanged.

Your library, queue, keys and settings are stored in this browser's local storage — they persist across restarts and reboots automatically. But storage is per browser and per site (localhost and driftoff.pages.dev each keep their own copy), so use a backup file to move your collection between them or to keep a safe copy.
